“When we walked in gave my name,was greeted with smiles our room was ready. Was introduced how to get to the room and was told about the comportmentary breakfast ”

“We enjoyed our stay at Rachel's Place. The house is spacious and the porch was great for hanging out. The beds were comfortable and we had what we needed. There was even a gas grill outside on the porch for us to use. We did not fish on Eagle lake, we were actually in the area fishing the Mississippi river. So it was a bit of a drive into town, but we didn't mind that. Everyone we met was extremely nice and responsive during our stay.”

“Liked the unique room although hot water wasn’t very hot. Wine and cheese was nice upon arrival but I think the host should have poured the wine. People poured large amounts. The sit down breakfast and tour of Duff mansion was lovely!!”

“While the sheets and towels and the room were generally clean, overall the condition is poor. Very tired overall.”
