“Elizabeth gave some dining options, and we went to 10 Sout5h Rooftop Bar and Grill. The pork chop dinner was the BEST I ever had! Had dinner the night before at Walnut Hills, a true southern comfort experience. The property has historic details that are incredible. Some aging deterioration, but with 115 years of existence, I would too! The pool was a pleasant relief, and the room was spacious with a modern shower/bathroom. “This motel is set off the side of a busy highway. You hear cars all night. There is no grass to walk pets on. Room smelled strongly of weed even though the room was “smoke free”. Parking lot was well lit. Was very quiet people wise after dark. As long as the sound of traffic doesn’t bother you it’s not a bad cheap place to stay. Bed was comfortable too. I would stay here again. Although I would recommend getting there early and cutting on the AC on as early as possible. The room was very hot……
