“Clean rooms , entrance area and cordial staff. ”

“Liked the unique room although hot water wasn’t very hot. Wine and cheese was nice upon arrival but I think the host should have poured the wine. People poured large amounts. The sit down breakfast and tour of Duff mansion was lovely!!”

“Beautiful and impressive mansion like staying inside a castle. I was impressed with all the antique furnitures. That was a treat for me. I was grateful for the talk after breakfast about the history of the place. Downside was that some staff services and the logistics could have been better. The hair conditioner bottle was indeed shampoo. My dietary preference at breakfast didn’t make it to the kitchen staff (or it was ignored/ forgotten). Staff Couldn’t find the key to my room upon check in. ”

“A beautiful historic home. Being able to tour it was fun. Our room was above the dining area so it was a little noisy. Our only complaint was the early dinner reservation. We had hoped to dine later but there were no time slots available. Yet, the dining room was only half filled at the later time when we left. Otherwise, it was a lovely stay. ”

“Hostess & owner Macy was so congenial and accommodating. She changed rooms for us as we all are "older" and did not want to try to maneuver the stairs to upper rooms. The breakfast was so delightful, the table setting was so lovely! We enjoyed our view of the river from the chairs and front porch swings. Would definitely recommend and would stay again if we're in the area.”

“We stayed in Mae-Mae's Room at the Steele Cottage and it was great for our needs. Well appointed, conveniently located and easily accessible, yet removed from the core downtown area for privacy. The breakfast service at the Duff Green Mansion B&B was good for a first morning, but the 3+ block walk is not directly toward the main part of downtown and the river. I suggest equipping the Steele Cottage with bottled waters and snack items in each room for optimal convenience.”

“Loved the people and food. Beautiful grounds and so unique. The only suggestion is for the cleaning crew to use less clorox in cleaning the room. It was SO strong when we checked in we had to open all the doors. Maybe a less pungent cleaner. Thank you.”

“The people were very nice! The condition of the casino and hotel are old and kind of outdated but over all it was a comfortable room with a nice view. The dealers were very friendy and drinks were free and the drink service was excellent !”
