“Good stay”

“We chose this hotel specifically for the outdoor space. It was very disappointing. The ground, all furniture and umbrellas etc was in disrepair and dirty. ”

“Good stay at this property. I chose it because rooms have a kitchenette to make simple meals. Lighting in the room is not the best, would be great to have a lamp on both sides of the bed. There is a lady-bug issue in the room, I was told it's that time of year in Mississippi. They really were not too bothersome. The room I was assigned was at the end of the hall and unfortunately the two college teams staying there used the stairwell all night long to go up or down to other rooms, the door……

“Generally nice. We had a smaller room. The AC was a bit weak. Breakfast at Duff Green was great as was the short tour afterwards.”

“It was fun to stay in such an historic building. Our room was clean and spacious. The breakfast was a bit underwhelming although the biscuits were good. The tour after breakfast was interesting. ”

“Very nice b&b within walking distance to city auditorium, restaurants and shopping downtown with unique stores. Owners were very helpful and allowed our 5 year old granddaughter to stay on last minute decision. Would definitely stay again. ”

“We stayed in Mae-Mae's Room at the Steele Cottage and it was great for our needs. Well appointed, conveniently located and easily accessible, yet removed from the core downtown area for privacy. The breakfast service at the Duff Green Mansion B&B was good for a first morning, but the 3+ block walk is not directly toward the main part of downtown and the river. I suggest equipping the Steele Cottage with bottled waters and snack items in each room for optimal convenience.”
