“On 5/8/25, we stayed here one night for graduation. The room was clean and the beds were comfortable. Bathroom met my satisfaction. Only issue, wish the hotels would upgrade the toilets to the new standard size! They are so low to me, making it uncomfortable to position yourself! I'm average height (5'6), but I can imagine how a tall person feels! The TV had all the cable channels. To my surprise, unlike most hotels, you might get 10 channels, but they had the full package! More lighting needs……

“i was given a handicap room, which turned out wonderful, as i have trouble getting my legs over the tub ri.m. i love the shower chair. thid is good for me and the water was wonderful. the pillows were a little smushy and they did not support my neck. i thought they would have some breakfast, as advertised, but they had nothing but coffee, and i am a morning tea drinker. so that was a disappointment. they should not advertise they do, when they don't. otherwise the room was good. ”

“Loved the people and food. Beautiful grounds and so unique. The only suggestion is for the cleaning crew to use less clorox in cleaning the room. It was SO strong when we checked in we had to open all the doors. Maybe a less pungent cleaner. Thank you.”

“We stayed in Mae-Mae's Room at the Steele Cottage and it was great for our needs. Well appointed, conveniently located and easily accessible, yet removed from the core downtown area for privacy. The breakfast service at the Duff Green Mansion B&B was good for a first morning, but the 3+ block walk is not directly toward the main part of downtown and the river. I suggest equipping the Steele Cottage with bottled waters and snack items in each room for optimal convenience.”

“A beautiful historic home. Being able to tour it was fun. Our room was above the dining area so it was a little noisy. Our only complaint was the early dinner reservation. We had hoped to dine later but there were no time slots available. Yet, the dining room was only half filled at the later time when we left. Otherwise, it was a lovely stay. ”
