“Just a little dirty in the room ”

“Everything was fine except the floors were dirty. This is the same as the Motel 6 we stayed in the previous night. They need to mop their floors. ”

“The room was clean, beds were comfortable. It is an older building, there was no view.”

“Clean but the floor was wet from mopping when we walked in. Spent one hour at the pool and when we got back it was still very wet! The hot tub was not working and there were two long snakes on the second floor walkway! One of them was moving right along the hotel door ways! ”

“It was a quick stop along our trip. At 5 am, someone was yelling and disturbing the whole hotel. ”

“We did not stay after we saw a handwritten sign "Rooms Hourly Rates" in the lobby window. Expedia vouched for them!!! & won't get our money back.... terrible experience!”

“A beautiful historic home. Being able to tour it was fun. Our room was above the dining area so it was a little noisy. Our only complaint was the early dinner reservation. We had hoped to dine later but there were no time slots available. Yet, the dining room was only half filled at the later time when we left. Otherwise, it was a lovely stay. ”

“The historical house is beautiful on the inside. The proprieter is froendly and made a wonderful breakfast. Room was clean and the bed was comfortable. We will stay there again.”

“Beautiful and impressive mansion like staying inside a castle. I was impressed with all the antique furnitures. That was a treat for me. I was grateful for the talk after breakfast about the history of the place. Downside was that some staff services and the logistics could have been better. The hair conditioner bottle was indeed shampoo. My dietary preference at breakfast didn’t make it to the kitchen staff (or it was ignored/ forgotten). Staff Couldn’t find the key to my room upon check in. ”

“We stayed in Mae-Mae's Room at the Steele Cottage and it was great for our needs. Well appointed, conveniently located and easily accessible, yet removed from the core downtown area for privacy. The breakfast service at the Duff Green Mansion B&B was good for a first morning, but the 3+ block walk is not directly toward the main part of downtown and the river. I suggest equipping the Steele Cottage with bottled waters and snack items in each room for optimal convenience.”

“Room was quiet and comfortable, though the air conditioning was cold and seemed to only be controlled by the main controller in the main hallway of the house. No check-in staff on site as instructions are given via SMS, but a near-by B&B does have a reception to help you if needed, as we did. Breakfast is a three-course affair in the Duff Green Mansion, a short walk down the street.”
