“Our room was a generous size and had views of Passamaquoddy Sound with path access to a local beach. The hotel was quiet and comfortable. They use a Roku box for TV services, which is unfamiliar to us, but offers a lot of viewing options. We didn't really have much time for TV, given the locale.”

“This was a first for me, I had never stayed in a B&B before. The breakfast was great. I did like you had an option of the room with a bathroom and one without. I’m glad we picked the one with because on the second night someone was in the other room and they were noisy and dropping a lot of items on the floor and shutting the door loudly. I will not score this B&B low because it’s not their fault. This is a lovely place if you like B&B. Thanks for the experience. ”

“Beautiful cottage that had everything we needed. Very clean and only minutes from downtown. The only feedback I have is the use of the laundry detergent. Tide has a very strong scent that is not pleasing to many people. The use of a scent free detergent would create a neutral but clean appearance on the towels and bedding. ”

“We had a wonderful stay at Heart of Lubec! The hostess, Sara, has gone above and beyond making sure it has all the comforts for an enjoyable visit. We hope to return next year! ”

“This house was everything that was promised...secluded, well stocked, and very clean. I was particularly happy with the amount of supplies already in the kitchen when I arrived. Every morning I was able to have a hot cup of coffee out on the deck and listen to the water lapping against the rocks. I even had a little seal friend swim up into the cove to say hello. My only word of warning is that the road to the house is unpaved and you really need to take your time driving to and from town.……

“We had a group of 7, 5 sisters and 2 friends. All older adults. Perfect place for us. Right on the waterfront with great views. Plenty of room for relaxing, cooking and sleeping. We would definitely recommend this rental.”
