“Our 3rd stay at Seaside Sanctuary and this time we stayed 2 weeks. Stacey is always super-communicative and the house has everything you could possibly need. We were able to get in some nice day trips down to the Schoodic Peninsula of Acadia National Park, Milbridge, Calais, Eastport, Reversing Falls, Machias & Jasper Beach. We caught a sunrise at West Quoddy Head Lighthouse and explored Cobscook Shores and points around Lubec and the Bold Coast. We spent about 1/2 the time there just "being" at……

“House was lovely, very clean and thoughtfully stocked; even fresh flowers in several of the rooms. Beds were comfortable and set up for cold weather as we were there in December. Our host, Gabriela, was highly responsive and welcoming. And the views of the water were beautiful, highly recommend.”

“Plenty of room for all of us to have some alone time, although we spent most of the time relaxing on the deck taking in the beautiful panoramic views. This is a sunny spot, and the weather was perfect all week! It could use another umbrella for shade because the deck is full sun most of the day, but we sat at a picnic table on the shady side of the house to get some reprieval. Charlie delivered lobsters every other day, and at $5/lb we certainly over indulged! The house is older, and has a ton……

“House is 1980’s decor. Beds are comfortable, but, there’s minuscule little night stands beside each bed. There’s a tiny TV and very uncomfortable living room furniture in the TV room. The washer and dryer were nice to have. Overall, it’s the scenery that makes this house so special. ”

“We needed a place to collapse and reset! This was perfect! Secluded and private with a beautiful sandy beach overlooking the lake. Not having to transport our own kayaks was a great plus; kayaks in good shape. The light over the main dining table was not working, as well as a few electric outlets -- we bought a lantern at Walmart in Calais and did just fine. Got a few really cold showers -- finally figured out one of us needed to shower in the am and the other in the pm to get 2 hot……

“PERFECT, PERFECT, PERFECT. Excellent lakefront property. Hoise is well loved and cared for. Very clean. Plenty of outdoor area to run around. The penisula is a great spot for morning sunrises and catching some photos of loons. Many kayaks to enjoy time on the lake, laumch right fromt the beach. Plenty of indoor activities as well. The owners thought of everything when preparing the home for vacationers. There was not one time cooking that we didnt have what we needed. Kitchen is well stocked……

“This was a perfect, private getaway. The views were absolutely breathtaking, especially at sunset and the only neighbors we saw were a couple wandering turkeys. The house is extremely well kept with some of the most plush carpets I've ever felt. I will definitely try to stay here again, hopefully in the summer to enjoy the rocky beach below!”

“We loved our time in this home! Jeanne was super easy to get in touch with, and even though there was a mixup with her cleaner, she went above and beyond to make sure the mistake was made right. The home was very comfortable & the view from the upper deck is gorgeous. The bed we used was very comfortable as well and the workout room was a nice perk! Just be aware that there is another downstairs back apartment, so you'll want to keep the back bedroom sliding door curtain closed as it goes out to……

“Overall, our stay in Lubec was amazing! The location was fantastic - beautiful views, and less than 10 minutes from town. The house was lovely and well supplied. The lobster pot was perfect and the kitchen was very well stocked. There were a lot of flys in the house during our week there. Never did figure out where they came in the house, but they were bad and they did bite! Also a lot of spider webs that had not been knocked down in a while. The upstairs deck furniture cushions were too……

“We had an amazing time! The house was beautiful- exceeded expectations! The views were incredible! We did a lot of exploring. We saw moose, seals, and eagles in the area. We will plan to come back! ”

“We enjoyed our stay in this cabin in Cutler. It was very quiet and the sunsets were amazing. Beds were comfortable and we really appreciated the extra room and extra bathroom. Lots of pots and pans to cook in kitchen and extras like spices were very much appreciated. The only problem we had was contacting property manager with questions. She seemed to have trouble connecting with my phone to return calls but I was able to leave her messages on her phone. Other than that we really appreciate……

“The Morris lake house was exactly what we needed for our trip. Perfect location of the main roads and on the lake. Ver impressed with all of the accommodations. Always a relief when you forgot all the kitchen things like a bag or parchment paper. The house was clean and comfortable with plenty of room. One of the best VRBO houses we have stayed at. Lucas and Evonn responded in seconds with any questions. Couldn’t be happier. ”

“The space, location and layout of this house was really nice for our group of seven friends and we had a great week. The host was very responsive and communicated well. The heat was not working downstairs upon arrival, but he had a repairman come in to fix it and he also came over immediately when we were having trouble turning the fire pit on. House seemed neat and tidy when we first arrived, but we quickly noticed the floors were not well swept or vacuumed and both a coffee table and side……

“Home is just as described on VRBO Amazing views from home of Harbor, gorgeous sunrises. Home is over 150 yrs old , has been renovated with all modern comforts yet has maintained its charm. Comfortable beds, kitchen well stocked with all cookware, etc. Host responds quickly. Highly recommend this property. Close to amazing coastal views!!!”
