“It was a last minute trip and so happy I found this house. Beach was close and quiet for an early June visit and Billy restaurant was so close and great food. Will be visiting again. ”

“This is a great place to get away from it all. It was really nice to have a place on the water and sit around a campfire in the evening. The house/cottage is very clean, nicely decorated, and well-equipped. There aren't any stores or restaurants nearby, so stop at a grocery store in Ellsworth. There might be some firewood left by others, but it would be best to purchase some camp wood on the way. It is sold by seemingly everybody. Bar Harbor is an hour away by car. ”

“What a beautiful location. This property will leave instant memories for anyone who stays here. The house is such a cool piece of history with little nooks and crannies filled with vintage items. The kitchen is very user friendly and has almost everything needed to prepare a family meal in. The large windows allowed us to sit and just watch the waves and birds pass by. “We loved our stay! We were there 3 nights and had a great time. Kitchen is huge and has everything you need. Place was very clean, parking in front of your cottage. There are 3 of them at the end of this private road and i would say, Seaside is the newest one built. Only thing I can say is it is about 25 minutes from Acadia National Park and pretty much everything we did was in that location. I think i liked the fact we werent in the craziness of the town. We would definitely stay again!!!……

“Our stay at Martha’s was nothing short of amazing. Check in and all communication was extremely smooth. We were already super familiar with the area and the location could not be more perfect; walking distance/short drive to Reilly’s, Pemaquid Lighthouse and beach, Shaws and much more. The home was clean and well loved. The only possible downside would be having to walk through one of the bedrooms to get to the main living area, but there is a patio door that could be used to avoid this. This……
