“I liked that it was affordable for a nice room in a safe area. I was very comfortable staying there and it was especially quiet which I really liked. If I needed anything the handyman/manager was a text away. They were very responsive, accommodating and also very nice. I really enjoyed my stay there. ”

But, I would not book again through this listing again. Host did not pay entire rate. I ended up paying 20% more out of pocket and spent too much of my stay trouble-shooting with the hotel receptionists/calling the host support line. “Beautiful home, inside and out. Loved being right on the quiet lake for boating, swimming, fishing and kayaking. So relaxing. The home is very spacious for our three families with young kids to enjoy different areas. Kitchen is really well equipped, grilling on the balcony and fire pit outside was a big plus too. The home is remote and we loved it - but folks that want to be in the bustle of bar harbor, it’s an hour drive if you really want to check it out. We did a few hikes on MDI but our……
