“We just returned from our trip. First the location was excellent. The property is very picturesque and really afford the visitor great places to walk and truly see the coast of Maine. The host did a really good job in communicating with us and was respectful of our privacy. Concerning the condition and the amenities of the property…This home is a two family, which is fine however there were many things missing that were really would’ve been nice to have. It seems like the host may not have a lot……

“Sparrowhawk House is very clean and sits in a great neighborhood. The yard is small but not too small; our dog had enough room to run about. The driveway holds only two cars. I think the listing said it would fit 4. Nope. The house is clearly old - the floors are rather wavy and doors don't stay closed when you want. But the appliances and fixtures are pretty new and everything worked as expected. Being old, it lacks some of the electrical wiring you might expect... the house could use a bit……

“The property exceeded our expectations! Location was perfect. Quick walk to the grocery store, Charlie’s Seafood Market and Gather, a great breakfast restaurant. We spent a lot of time at the lake, which is almost right across the street. The playground is great and we didn’t realize there are lifeguards, and paddle boards, kayaks and life jackets for free use. “This is a room in a lovely old farmhouse. I thought the description could have been more detailed: I wasn't quite sure what to expect. The room is on the second floor; the bathroom is private but down a short hallway. The property is in the country and very quiet. Restaurants and stores are in Ellsworth, and easy 20-25 minute drive. Hosts are lovely and not intrusive. ”
