“Mable’s Farm was cozy and comfortable and the perfect stay for our family of four. The owner had really thought about everything and the views from the patio are fabulous!! “The sunflower mushroom house is very cozy and quaint in a pretty country setting. The drive from town is more like 20min with the stoplights and roads to get there but it was just fine for us coming for KU graduation. The parking is interesting it would be nice for the driveway to extend to the actual rental home and not stop in front of the run down home in front of the rental. Overall we would recommend the home for your trip to Lawrence ”

“Home was everything we expected, tucked off the main road but still able to enjoy seeing the Amish carriages go by. Hostess left us a plate of yummy cookies and, of course, we had to go check out Mooey's Ice Cream right up the road!”

“This historic property oozes charm. All the mechanicals worked perfectly, i.e., plumbing, hot water (plentiful); showers ( indoor and outdoor); electrical; and air conditioning. Although we had some of the hottest temps of the year, the AC on both the 1st and 2nd floors was outstanding! The host was incredibly quick to respond and rescued us within minutes when we locked ourselves out.The home was spotless and retains the character one might wish for in a 1770s home while providing the……

“Good messaging with Host. We a great house! The house is dated but the beds are great. The kitchen is decent size. We LOVED THIS PLACE! All the rooms are great, perfect outdoor area. The pool is great ! This place is close to wineries and grocery stores. The views are amazing, We had no issues with the house, bunkhouse, and the pool. Definitely recommend staying here! This home would be a great place for family reunions, group getaways, We will most likely stay here again. ”
