The property was secluded and the the nature all around was relaxing. The owners were knowledgeable about local attractions and places to eat. “The Hawaiian Kane Cottage was great for the four of us. You feel like there is no one for miles around, which was not common in Hawaii. Other than the roosters, which seem to have no predators in Hawaii and don't always wait until dawn to crow. We were able to prepare a lot of our meals in the open kitchen and Mike set up the Weber grill which was great for us. It does take a over half an hour to get it hot enough to cook meat, so keep that in mind in meal planning. Vika left us fresh eggs from……

“The property is very cool, as pictured. It was wonderful to sit outside after dark and look at the stars (with bug spray on). The view is lovely during the day, esp with the birdsong background music. The location is private, but accessible. Directions per host were accurate. From the photos, it looks like there is a kitchen, but it literally only has a fridge that cannot run during the day, so food got warm. The tiny house is powered by solar and the battery was used up at night to power lights……
