“The property is well maintained and pretty much has everything one could want in a vacation rental. If one wishes quiet solitude, then this is the place to stay.”

“Overall it was a good trip. We stayed only 2 days here. The container is nice, it seems pretty new. It’s not very big but that should be expected. The biggest drawbacks is that it is in the back yard of the property owners. There are no curtains on the main windows so there is a lack of privacy. And the shower did not get hot. We took cold showers. The overall location is great, close to the north shore beaches. ”

“The location on the shore is perfect! This was a great place for our family group. The lanai was our favorite room almost any time of the day. The local contact was very helpful.The following info is for the managers: Termites in bedroom 3 were eating the boards on the bed so that needs attention. The folding door outside by the water heaters needs immediate attention; the wind almost blew it off. The toilet in bedroom 1 needs attention because it’s wasting water. ”

“The Jungalow is so inviting and charming! I wish we had more time to enjoy the tranquil setting and the lovely home - and in such proximity to Volcano NP! Every detail was thought of, and the host was easy to contact, and the Jungalow would be a lovely place to unwind while visiting the Big Island!”

“It was a truly unique property! Loved all the personalized touches and the serene space. The sleep situation was not ideal for us however. I may have overlooked this in the description, but the second bedroom is a walk outside of the main living space, basically a separate apartment. We have a toddler and were not about to have her sleep out there by herself. Other than that, it was a great spot and super close to the national park.”

“We checked out of this beautiful condo three days before the Maui fires. It was one of those places where we for sure will come back to. As far as I can tell, it is still standing, but the clubhouse and some surrounding buildings did burn. This is the most amazing location on the island. Will definitely be back hopefully to help rebuild, and for sure to enjoy the beauty.”

“Soft bed. 2nd floor house. A lot of wild chickens. 15 min drove from everywhere. Airport. Walmart, Costco. Washer and dryer was big. Overall great stay. ”
