“Came for a red rocks concert. Great place to stay. The pictures are accurate. Older but clean and comfortable. We had fun reminiscing about some of the old appliances and dishes from our grandma’s house growing up. Highlight was the blue heron rookery across the way. Loved watching the birds from the dining room. Binoculars included! Close to Denver but feels secluded and off the beaten path. ”

“Wonderful 3-day stay! The cabin is gorgeous, very comfortable, and very well furnished! The kitchen is fully stocked. We did not eat out, we cooked every meal; the kitchen had everything we needed. The view is breathtaking, we spent a lot of time on the main porch. About 20-25 min drive from Gatlinburg, not an easy drive for those who aren’t used to narrow roads, sharp curves and steep inclines. We had some bear visits, but were well informed by our veterinarian family member about never feeding……

“Absolutely stunning. Everything about this location is absolutely lovely! The interior is warm, inviting, clean extremely cozy, and the view in the distance is breath taking! I can only imagine how beautiful it is in the winer. Location wise, this spot was that perfect combination of far enough away from town to feel like you’re in the wilderness but you’re also an easy drive to plenty of activities! I’m definitely saving this spot for potential future trips! ”

“My first vrbo, host was accommodating, had a last minute change and was no problem, very clean, you do have to use the main house for bath facilities but easy acess, 2 minor things, there is only one out let for the refrigerator, microwave and Kuerig had to get down and plug in microwave to use, and small night table on both sides of the bed, other than that great time easy to get to, thanks John”
