“This was our first time at Chalet on the Lake, and we'll be back (probably every year)! The cottage was the perfect size for my family of 5 and a great location in proximity to the pools, playground, and beach. We were very appreciative of the wagon and beach supplies that were provided with the cottage. Keep in mind the whole complex is older cottages, so the interior is not brand new and in perfect condition. Regardless, our stay was absolutely wonderful and I'd highly recommend!”

The home itself is nestled away from other homes and businesses and makes it a relaxing retreat. There are tall trees surrounding the home and the sound of leaves rustling will lull you to sleep. It was about a 20 minute drive to activities in the area. ”

“We (2 adults, 1 kid, 1 dog) really enjoyed our stay at the chalet. The owner provided detailed instructions for finding the place, and check in was a breeze. The space was exceptionally clean, comfortable and welcoming. Rooms had comfy beds, and the kitchen was stocked for cooking some nice dinners together. Location in the woods was peaceful, but close enough for us to enjoy trips to Manistee, Travese City, and Frankfort. On the occasions we stayed in, there were fun games to play and Roku TVs……

“It really was perfect for our ski team’s stay. There were enough beds, a large table and common area to gather and a well equipped kitchen. There was some trouble with one of the bathrooms, but the owner was very responsive.”

“Very peaceful and nice setup for the studios. Nice walking path to the falls. And had some really friendly people also staying in other studios. Fire pit was a great plus to the experience. Definitely will stay again for my next stay. Only complaint would be hearing the highway traffic. But i would stay again for sure.”

“Booked for two smaller families to serve has home base for several day trips. Kids enjoyed the basement with games and hot tub, deck and fireplace were all adult favorites. Owner was excellent with communication and even sent a video for how to adjust hot tub. ”
