“Great place to stay. The property manager Pamela was very kind and helpful and was very sweet to myself and my daughter. We will definitely come back when we can utilize the pool and fire pits. Short walk to small beach great for collecting rocks. ”

“Staff is friendly. Some of the guests however, lack consideration for the property. The way guests leave there trash around the bins is RIDICULOUS”

“The hobbit house is an adorable piece of Charlevoix history with incredible views of Lake Michigan and the gorgeous sunsets on the water. Home is equiped with everything you need to enjoy a perfect stay in this beautiful town. Highly recommend the house and also recommend you enjoy the Mushroom House Tour to learn more about it. Hosts were helpful communicative!! Would love to return. ”

“This is a super cute little motel. It’s right in the middle of downtown, so walking distance from everything! It was perfect and the host was very nice and helpful with questions and also responded in a great amount of time! Would recommend and would stay here again! ”

“It was nice over all you go through a sketchy area to get back to there and the pool is shared with the motel you drive through. There’s two parking spaces and 3 cabins, only other thing is it was clean but the tops of everything besides the kitchen was coated with dust and spider webs ”

“Captain's Cottage is super cute! The pictures really dont do it justice. We were a block from the beach. Snug Harbour and Noto's are a must for waterfront dining. Downtown had lots to offer as well and was walking distance to CC. We had to make a trip to Meijer...also very close...and was astonished at the cleanliness and upscale feel of this store. We had a great, although too short stay, at Captain's Cottage.”
