“Captain's Cottage is super cute! The pictures really dont do it justice. We were a block from the beach. Snug Harbour and Noto's are a must for waterfront dining. Downtown had lots to offer as well and was walking distance to CC. We had to make a trip to Meijer...also very close...and was astonished at the cleanliness and upscale feel of this store. We had a great, although too short stay, at Captain's Cottage.”

“My mom and two teenage daughters and me were traveling and this was a good place to stop on our journey. The double bed and pillows were comfortable. The futon/pullout was not really meant for sleeping. There were not linens for the futon or pillow cases for the extra pillows. The double bed did have pillowcases and sheets. The keyless entry was smooth and worked as expected. The kitchen was small but adequate. It was not a full size fridge. But was a full size oven. It satisfied our……

“All aspects of this property met our expectations except for the bedroom situation. The property is listed as 5 bedrooms, but only one bedroom (new addition) has full walls. The other 4 bedrooms have open rafter ceiling which makes each room connected as far as noise is concerned. If you are traveling with other couples, this may not be advantageous. That being said, the location is great and the view from the deck is lovely. Jay is also a very gracious host. ”

“This is the most adorable beach house, super clean and beautifully decorated! Location is right across the street from the beach and minutes (driving) away from Grand Haven shopping and restaurants. We had a tiny issue with the lock on the door (how to) but the owners texted us back right away and even checked on us the next day to make sure we were good to go! Such a wonderful time, this is an awesome property for a family vacation!”

“This cabin is OLD. But in the best way. It has original detail, with some modern amenities. While I personally thought it was charming, I could see how others might not. Aesthetically, the owner has excellent taste and everything worked together. But there were areas that could use some maintenance/updates. We personally struggled with the door handles and locks, as they were all original and clearly very old. The location was quaint and peaceful, and an easy walk to the beach (for my able……
