“My boyfriend and I LOVED this property! It’s gorgeous, spacious, and private. I found the hanging tent incredibly comfortable! Bathroom was clean and actually smelled very nice! Owner was kind enough to share a list of local attractions! We loved exploring the area and especially enjoyed Rosy Mound. If you want to go pack light and prepare for a long hike with steps! Totally worth it for the amazing view and less crowded beach! 10/10 would recommend this spot for a nice private camping trip”

“Captain's Cottage is super cute! The pictures really dont do it justice. We were a block from the beach. Snug Harbour and Noto's are a must for waterfront dining. Downtown had lots to offer as well and was walking distance to CC. We had to make a trip to Meijer...also very close...and was astonished at the cleanliness and upscale feel of this store. We had a great, although too short stay, at Captain's Cottage.”

“My mom and two teenage daughters and me were traveling and this was a good place to stop on our journey. The double bed and pillows were comfortable. The futon/pullout was not really meant for sleeping. There were not linens for the futon or pillow cases for the extra pillows. The double bed did have pillowcases and sheets. The keyless entry was smooth and worked as expected. The kitchen was small but adequate. It was not a full size fridge. But was a full size oven. It satisfied our……
