“Overall this was a very nice stay for my family and dog, especially if you're just looking for a peaceful place to hunker down.The only things I would want anyone to know before booking is that the cabin is right up against some woods and, thus, bugs. My daughter found a tick on her and there were several stink bugs and prolly pollies trotting around. Not a big deal unless you have bug phobias. Also, the path to the house is not paved, so you may want to take that into account with your luggage……

“This home, is by far, one of the best rentals we’ve stayed in. It has everything and it was pristine clean. “Lots of the reviews said something like "the best stocked rental house we've stayed out"...and that was exactly what we experienced. 2 kayaks, 3 SUPs, life jackets, plenty of nice beach chairs and umbrellas, well stocked kitchen, plenty of towels and beach towels, soap/shampoo in both bathrooms...I could go on and on. The other 4 bedrooms have open rafter ceiling which makes each room connected as far as noise is concerned. If you are traveling with other couples, this may not be advantageous. That being said, the location is great and the view from the deck is lovely. Jay is also a very gracious host. ”

“House was great, you can walk down the steps & literally get in the water of Lake Michigan. There are a lot of steps to get down there so not for someone with walking issues. House is cute, clean & has a great deck to sit out on & excellent lake access. Location is very rural & literally have to drive down dirt roads & hills to get to the house. Nothing serious but I was surprised. ”
