“The Lake House was the perfect place to welcome the year’s first snowfall. The property is well maintained and the house was lovely. Wally welcomed us on our first day and we immediately felt comfortable as he gave us some great pointers and recommendations. The kitchen came well equipped, we had plenty of towels and the beds were all clean and comfy. ”

“This was a great place to stay. I can imagine that in the summer, folks who want to get on the river or sit around the fire pit would be so happy. We stayed when it snowed hard so we didn't do any outdoor activities. The owner was amazing. She attentive and responsive. The only issue we had was with the dogs in the neighborhood. There is a sign when one pulls onto the road that there are a bunch of dogs who live there, which isn't a problem if one isn't allergic to dogs. What we didn't expect……

“Our family of four adults had a very nice stay, while we were in the area visiting relatives for a week during the winter. The house was very comfortable and roomy. The kitchen was large, well stocked, with a good size table and bright lighting. The living room had lots of comfortable seating. Both bathrooms were good sized. The large garage looked like it was well stocked for summer fun. The owners had the house nicely decorated, and the driveway was clear of snow.”

“This is a great place if you want a peaceful, relaxing vacation. Owners lived on site but respected our privacy. Communication was excellent! We enjoyed the paddleboat and watching the swans on the lake every day. The beds were comfortable and the pillows were great! The place is kept very clean and nicely decorated. We had all the towels and kitchen supplies we needed. The town of Hastings is close and we enjoyed all the cool shops and restaurants. We went on the day of the Farmers Market in……
