“The Lake House was the perfect place to welcome the year’s first snowfall. The property is well maintained and the house was lovely. Wally welcomed us on our first day and we immediately felt comfortable as he gave us some great pointers and recommendations. The kitchen came well equipped, we had plenty of towels and the beds were all clean and comfy. ”

“Overall this was a very nice stay for my family and dog, especially if you're just looking for a peaceful place to hunker down.The only things I would want anyone to know before booking is that the cabin is right up against some woods and, thus, bugs. My daughter found a tick on her and there were several stink bugs and prolly pollies trotting around. Not a big deal unless you have bug phobias. Also, the path to the house is not paved, so you may want to take that into account with your luggage……

“Great weekend for the family and our little dog. It was fun ti walk out in the frozen lake and very pretty to look at. House was well equipped, but bring your own deck of cards or adult board games. We had a problem with the heat, but the host was quick to respond and it was taken care of promptly. Very comfortable and I would love to stay again. ”

“We came back to this property for a second time. We were able to experience it during the winter season and it was great! It was so nice to be able to walk right out to the lake from the backyard and go ice fishing. Our dog came with us and enjoyed his stay as well. Perfect little getaway, year round!”

“A short weekend stay and family celebration at Townsend Park. Too cool to really enjoy the beach, but did enjoy the sunsets and the lake view. Would go back. ”

“The cottage was perfect!! Great view of lake. We had the family over on Sunday to celebrate my granddaughter graduating and to see our great Neice for the first time. Even though it was a cold day the deck was warm due to the house blocking the North wind. Everything was just like the pictures bed was comfy and kitchen had everything you needed. Grill worked great. Will stay here again for sure!”
