“We enjoyed our stay at this property. It was conveniently located to where we needed to go. It was very clean and smelled nice. The shower has amazing water pressure, and the large shower head made it feel like I was getting a nice message. I also liked the large gas stove. There were several items that could be used if you forgot something. (Toiletries, condiments, spices, etc.)Two very small things though. The ceiling on the stairs is very low. This is mentioned in the check-in guide, however……

“Only a 4-night stay, but it was the perfect amount of time to enjoy this area of Michigan and get some local adventures in from.The Rogue River is a great spot for recreation. Saw probably 100 kayakers and fishers over the 4 days we were at the place. You need to book ahead as the local kayak renters can be busy. Don't forget about downtown Rockford too! Wonderfully quaint area with a beautiful dam landscape and plenty of shops and restaurants to enjoy. Rockford Brewing was a favorite.Was……

“We splashed around in a heated pool. We relaxed in the jacuzzi. We had some competitive basketball and volleyball games. We enjoyed the spacious deck, and made smores in the fire pit. Everything we could want to do outdoors. Indoors is a little more basic. There are small maintenance details a little on the shoddier side, like a shower head that wouldn't work and a few issues trying to figure out the thermostats (2). But nothing egregious. Overall it was great time and we enjoyed ourselves. ”

“Overall, the property was great. Location on the lake was amazing and the house was lovely! We had 4 adults and 4 13/14 year old boys. The boys enjoyed fishing and swimming. The adults enjoyed the deck and relaxing. The house was clean and perfect for our group. The kitchen had all items needed for cooking, plus extra comfort items such as things for coffee and s'mores. There were plenty of towels and linens. Carrie was great to communicate with and was available during our stay if we needed……

“This house met the requirements that we needed for a birthday weekend celebration for our daughter. It also was secure for our son with autism. And, the added bonus, was the Disney Channel which kept him entertained and happy. The kitchen is well stocked with supplies needed to make breakfast, etc. The house is a little older, so there are creaks in the floorboards.”

“Great stay and very cozy place! Owners are easy to work with if you need anything and everything was great with the place. 10-20 minutes from pretty much anything! ”
