“Communication with property manager was amazing. The outdoor grill was broken and Wally responded quickly and replaced the grill that day.The river was fun for tubing and if you love to fly fish we left a big brown trout there for you.We were disappointed that the outdoor balcony was under construction and we could enjoy our drinks overlooking the river. But, we enjoyed the patio and plenty of chairs to relax outside. ”

“We had a very pleasant stay. It was cozy and comfortable. It was clean and the kitchen was very well equipped and the essentials were supplied. It had a beautiful lake front view and very nice yard. We had kayaks and a canoe available to use and there was a family of swans that were beautiful to watch. I would like to note that there are lily pads/weeds that go about thirty feet out from shore, so it’s not very swimmable from shore. This didn’t affect us because we were swimming elsewhere or……

“My husband and I stayed at Heidis place while visiting GR for an appointment. The carriage house was perfect for one night. Clean space, beautiful location and easy check-in. The pool looked inviting, but we were too busy to jump in. There is a fenced area near the pool that kept the backyard seperate from the space you're in which was nice since we had our pups with us. -Just a heads up to future guests: the Keurig was there but no coffee pods only tea pods, and there were no paper towels. “Nice house lakeside to celebrate graduation from Calvin University. We enjoyed paddle boarding, kayaking and the peddle boat. Enough equipment for all of us to be out on the lake at the same time. Brian was easy to talk with and had everything labeled nicely. Would stay again.”

“Beautiful views of the lake! The kitchen area is roomy & stocked with a good amount of dishes and utensils. The island is great for serving dinner on and had space for 4 people to sit at with room for the rest of us at the kitchen table.. The family room/bedroom had plenty of space for the grandkids to play in. The bedrooms were a decent size with large enough closets to store clothes in. We had 13 people, 8 adults & 5 kids and fit comfortably in the house. . We spent most of our time……

“We had the best time with our niece and nephews! Home was super clean, there was lots there to do and what a great spot! We hope to be back next year! Thank you for everything ”

“Buddies and I had an amazing long weekend. The private beach and kayaks were wonderful. We really enjoyed the lake during the day, and the peaceful setting was just what we needed to relax and recharge. Evenings were spent playing board games around the large table, laughing and making memories with friends. The cottage was incredibly comfortable, spotless, and well-stocked with everything we needed. It truly felt like a home away from home.”

“Lovely home! Mark, the host, was wonderful! He answered any and all questions quickly. The home was very clean and well equipped. We rented 4 properties on Gun Lake for family attending our daughter’s wedding. This property was by far the BEST! The power went out the night before the wedding and this property was equipped with a generator!! If I could give this property more stars I would!! The setting on the channel was so calm and peaceful. Access to the big lake was so convenient and close.……

“Cottage owner was great! Met us there the first day; showed us around. Very spacious cottage; very clean. Does have lots of stairs and not much beach area; full of seaweed so not great for swimming right off the dock. Please note that the large windows are gorgeous and give a great view, but there are no window coverings so daylight comes in early each day. Cottage had a well stocked kitchen for all sorts of cooking/grilling. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay; would recommend!”
