“First impression was CLEAN. The rooms were well appointed with two side night tables/lamps and large closet with hangers. The bed was comfortable with very soft sheets and a cooling comforter - a variety of pillows and extra blankets were available. The kitchen has everything guests need to cook in or out (each cottage has its own BBQ and cleaning tools.) The living area is comfortable with TV. Picnic table out back by BBQ. The garage also has a picnic table for bad weather - garage is well lit……

“The most wonderful place for our family. The weather was cool On Sunday when we arrived but each day got warmer. Every sunset was different and we enjoyed each one down at Lake Michigan. I was up most mornings at 6:45 to enjoy each sunrise. As the week went forward all joined me the last morning to watch the beautiful sunrise! “Loved the space especially the outside picnic area and fire pit. Living room furniture was not very comfortable for older folks but beds were. Would have been nice to have TV in bedrooms but realize no space for that or a dresser”

“The weather looked bleak heading into our weekend here. But the weather gods gave us plenty of sun shine to enjoy this cozy place. The beds are very small. But comfy. Very friendly neighbors. Throughly loved the escape. Never had a reason to contact the host, which I think speaks volumes of the property and experience.”

“This place is just as beautiful as the photos. We enjoyed the hot tub and screened porch. The house was clean and well stocked. I would definitely recommend this home to anyone. Host communication was prompt and so helpful. Thanks again!”

“This is a beautiful, peaceful location. A quick drive into town if you want to eat out, but a great escape if you're seeking tranquility. The view of the wetlands and the wildlife were our favorite things about it. The beds are great, and with all the windows open in the 2nd bedroom, it's almost like sleeping outdoors. “Beautiful views of the landscape and lake! Very private and peaceful. The home is spacious and comfortable. ”

“What a charming place! It’s hidden in the woods on the edge of the sand dunes. Beautiful light filters through the trees and bathes the cabin in just the right ambience to feel a world away. The cabin was clean and had everything we needed (minus the coffee) :). Plenty of room to spread out with 5 of us staying. It was close to restaurants and other attractions (the Dune Rides are worth the small admission price). The place was so lovely that we hope to stay again when we are in Saugatuk!”
