“This cottage is much cuter than the pictures show. The setting on the river is beautiful and relaxing! We stayed for the Holland Tulip festival and the setting was the perfect retreat after a long day of walking and people. The house is comfortable and relaxing and provided everything we needed for our stay!”

“I brought my partner here for a surprise birthday weekend and it was perfect! The cabin is so charming and beautiful and really feels special. You can tell the care put into the property and the thoughtfulness of the hosts. The location is a perfect homebase for hiking and exploring the charming surrounding towns while also feeling like you’re in your own private piece of the world. I would absolutely visit again!”

“We enjoyed our stay. The "cottage" is centrally located to area attractions. The landscaping is impeccable and creates a sense of privacy despite being so close to two intersecting roads. Check in was seamless, instructions were clear. The basement is a fun hangout and we enjoyed the firepit on our last night.The only downfall I really see is lack of bedroom furniture and the Adirondack chair in the living room is uncomfortable.”

“Didn't get a chance to stay at this beautiful home due to not being able to have off work last minute but plan to stay in the future!”

“Nice little place, like a small efficiency. Lady was nice and not intrusive. Got lucky with weather in late October. Had a very nice time, nice people, good food.”

“The property was great for us. Everything was in working order, and their were good directions. Not much was required from us, basically take your stuff and lock up when you leave. Only complaint was the inability to adjust the temperature. It was too cold part of the time. Seemed wasteful to keep air so high when it was 50 degrees outside. ”

“Overall this was a very nice stay for my family and dog, especially if you're just looking for a peaceful place to hunker down.The only things I would want anyone to know before booking is that the cabin is right up against some woods and, thus, bugs. My daughter found a tick on her and there were several stink bugs and prolly pollies trotting around. Not a big deal unless you have bug phobias. Also, the path to the house is not paved, so you may want to take that into account with your luggage……

“Erica was a fantastic host. We ungraded before we got there to the big cabin. It was gorgeous. The views were breathtaking the whole town was just unbelievable we are already planning our trip back.”

“We were in town for the Tulip Festival, which we enjoyed! Traffic is rough on parade days. The VRBO is about 10 minutes from downtown Holland ,15 minutes to the tulip fields and 2 minutes from Lake Michigan.The home is very nice, large wooded yard, quiet neighborhood, gas grill on the wrap around deck. Large kitchen, 2 bedrooms upstairs, 1 on the main floor and 1 in the basement.We would stay again.”

“The Lake House was the perfect place to welcome the year’s first snowfall. The property is well maintained and the house was lovely. Wally welcomed us on our first day and we immediately felt comfortable as he gave us some great pointers and recommendations. The kitchen came well equipped, we had plenty of towels and the beds were all clean and comfy. ”
