“First impression was CLEAN. The rooms were well appointed with two side night tables/lamps and large closet with hangers. The bed was comfortable with very soft sheets and a cooling comforter - a variety of pillows and extra blankets were available. The kitchen has everything guests need to cook in or out (each cottage has its own BBQ and cleaning tools.) The living area is comfortable with TV. Picnic table out back by BBQ. The garage also has a picnic table for bad weather - garage is well lit……

“Just returned and looking forward to staying here again next year. The home was so convenient to everything going on in town yet very quiet and quaint. A little sanctuary right in town. I stayed with my mother and we were able to enjoy the art in the park, farmers market, shopping, and beautiful views along the river- all within a quick walk. The drive to Oval Beach was easy for a beautiful sunset. Excellent location and the property manager communicated with us the day before and the day of……

“The most wonderful place for our family. The weather was cool On Sunday when we arrived but each day got warmer. Every sunset was different and we enjoyed each one down at Lake Michigan. I was up most mornings at 6:45 to enjoy each sunrise. As the week went forward all joined me the last morning to watch the beautiful sunrise! Getting out taking walks climbing Mt Pisgha it was all wonderful. The size of the house worked so well go us. With having a 6 month old!! Thanks so much for the……

“Loved the space especially the outside picnic area and fire pit. Living room furniture was not very comfortable for older folks but beds were. Would have been nice to have TV in bedrooms but realize no space for that or a dresser”

“We just loved our time at Anna’s Cottage. It was spacious, warm and welcoming. The windows (and views!) are gorgeous and we loved the photo of the same porch we sat on from the early 1900s. Located across the street from the Chain Ferry and within walking distance to Mt. Baldhead and Oval Beach, the location is perfect. Highly recommend!”

“The weather looked bleak heading into our weekend here. But the weather gods gave us plenty of sun shine to enjoy this cozy place. The beds are very small. But comfy. Very friendly neighbors. Throughly loved the escape. Never had a reason to contact the host, which I think speaks volumes of the property and experience.”
