“It was a wonderful place to stay nestled in the woods. We had a family from Berlin, Germany staying with my husband.and I! The children ages 9,11, and 14, We had access to the lake and water park across the street so that was a bonus! I do have a complaint about the kitchen, no paper towels, no dishcloths (the dishwasher was broken) and only 2 wine glasses! Also, there was a bit of coffee for us but you should have a Keurig coffee maker as well! We brought Keurig pods with us, and/or a bigger……

“Beach front cabin could not be beat for location and the cabin was clean and a great home base for all things Mackinaw city within walking distance, including the ferry to Mackinac Island. Beach is rocky in places, so be sure to bring some good water shoes! If you like the natural wood look, you will love this cabin. “We arrived to our beautiful rental greeted by a lovely card, banana bread and other treats. The directions for the property and check in were very easy to follow. The area is very peaceful and we were able to take a walk down by the lake and view the bridge. Mary Lynn communicated very well and has the home well stocked and very clean. “We had a good overall experience at this cabin/cottage. The place was clean, comfortable, and matched my expectations for the price. Check-in and communication with the host were smooth and hassle-free. The location was cool, kind of on a peninsula, and had everything we needed for our stay. Bathroom was tight but functional. It was close enough to what we wanted to do. We did not utilize the water at all but it was nice viewing the lake in our downtime. I would stay here again. ”
