“PERFECT, PERFECT, PERFECT. Excellent lakefront property. Hoise is well loved and cared for. Very clean. Plenty of outdoor area to run around. The penisula is a great spot for morning sunrises and catching some photos of loons. Many kayaks to enjoy time on the lake, laumch right fromt the beach. Plenty of indoor activities as well. The owners thought of everything when preparing the home for vacationers. There was not one time cooking that we didnt have what we needed. Kitchen is well stocked……

“Our 3rd stay at Seaside Sanctuary and this time we stayed 2 weeks. Stacey is always super-communicative and the house has everything you could possibly need. We were able to get in some nice day trips down to the Schoodic Peninsula of Acadia National Park, Milbridge, Calais, Eastport, Reversing Falls, Machias & Jasper Beach. We caught a sunrise at West Quoddy Head Lighthouse and explored Cobscook Shores and points around Lubec and the Bold Coast. We spent about 1/2 the time there just "being" at……

“We loved our time in this home! Jeanne was super easy to get in touch with, and even though there was a mixup with her cleaner, she went above and beyond to make sure the mistake was made right. The home was very comfortable & the view from the upper deck is gorgeous. The bed we used was very comfortable as well and the workout room was a nice perk! Just be aware that there is another downstairs back apartment, so you'll want to keep the back bedroom sliding door curtain closed as it goes out to……

“We needed a place to collapse and reset! This was perfect! Secluded and private with a beautiful sandy beach overlooking the lake. Not having to transport our own kayaks was a great plus; kayaks in good shape. The light over the main dining table was not working, as well as a few electric outlets -- we bought a lantern at Walmart in Calais and did just fine. Got a few really cold showers -- finally figured out one of us needed to shower in the am and the other in the pm to get 2 hot……

“We spent 4 nights at Birch Haven in July. It’s in a lovely, quiet, remote location just under 9 miles from Lubec. The cottage is well-equipped and comfortable, surrounded by woods. The pictures are an accurate representation. We enjoyed watching the sunrise from the deck, listening to birds, watching squirrels do their thing. We saw deer as we drove in and out of the home and spotted seals in the harbor. Really loved watching the tides come in and out, and smelling the sea. The tidal range was……

“This was a terrific get away! At first we weren’t sure when our requested cabin suddenly was not available, but, wow, it was so peacefully awesome. I didn’t want to leave and go back to reality! Thanks Ross and Butch for the accommodations! Our only suggestions would be to provide hair dryer/shampoo & firewood at the cabin. Thanks so much! We hope to bring our family back one day soon!”

“The property and views were so much better than expected! We especially enjoyed the wicker recliners on the deck for watching the sea life and tides. The kitchen had everything we needed, and the location was great. Easy into town yet very private. We enjoyed our time at Birch Point and the Lubec area. Maine is a favorite vacation spot, and we will certainly look to return if our travels bring us north again. Thank you!”
