This hotel is nestled in the middle of Historic Downtown Manistee, about 50 minutes from Sleepy Bear Dunes. This hotel can be termed casual, laid-back. The rooms are roomy, well decorated as you see in the pictures, and very comfortable. There is a chocolate and ice cream shop next door. “The owner was very nice and helpful in suggesting where to eat in the area. Thanks to him I had a delicious dinner and a nice walk at a beach in Manistee. The bed was comfortable and the room was clean, big and cozy. The area is quiet, peaceful and beautiful. After all, you’re inside a national forest. ”

“We (2 adults, 1 kid, 1 dog) really enjoyed our stay at the chalet. The owner provided detailed instructions for finding the place, and check in was a breeze. The space was exceptionally clean, comfortable and welcoming. Rooms had comfy beds, and the kitchen was stocked for cooking some nice dinners together. Location in the woods was peaceful, but close enough for us to enjoy trips to Manistee, Travese City, and Frankfort. On the occasions we stayed in, there were fun games to play and Roku TVs……
