“This is a really great hostel option near everything in the Gaslamp Quarter. Check-in was simple and the space is quirky. I didn’t check out the shared space or kitchen but they are available. The front desk had a flier for daily events and there were plenty of fliers for other activities in the area. We had a private room, #22, which is right at the top of the stairs and didn’t hear a peep all night. The beds were very comfy and the pillows were firm. The communal bathroom was safe and clean……

“Not good for the price, and the air conditioner can’t work, make the call no one answer, leave a voice message, can not work, no one to resolve the problem, and wall is still wet maybe it’s new paint, the smell is not good”

“We really liked our room, it was suite #22. It had everything we needed for the time we were visiting San Diego (microwave, mini fridge, a couple of dishes, shower with hot water). The Hotel does not have its own parking so my advice is to look into where you want to park before staying here. We could hear people from other rooms but it wasn’t too bad to the point where we couldn’t sleep, we just turned the AC on and it tuned out the noise. Overall the stay was good, the room was cute but find……

“We had to book something quickly and found this spot. We didn’t realize it wasn’t a traditional hotel with a lobby and staff to greet you. It was a bit confusing how and where to go. The room was nice. Recently renovated and it was nicely done. Ours was a quick trip but the area around the hotel seems lively.”
