“When we arrived and was driving down the gravel road I thought to myself what have I got ourselves into, but at the end of the lane was a beautiful home and property. The owners meet us there and went over all the amenities and explained a few other things in the house to us. The place was spotless and the outside area was where we spent most of our time. Would definitely go back and a bonus is it’s only 2 miles to downtown French Lick.”

“We enjoyed finding a place to bring our dogs with us. We loved the view with being on the river. There was plenty of room for us. We were able to enjoy a fire one night, and love the screened porch. There are so many options in this area if you want to venture out. We will have to come back to do all the things we didn’t make it to this time!”

“I appreciated the desk clerk showing us the room before we committed to register. He wanted to be sure we would be satisfied with it before paying. The room was clean, though somewhat dated.”

“The stay was very enjoyable, it was nice to stay far away from civilisation in the middle of the nature. A great moment!”

“When I checked in, the clerk/owner (?) told me they no longer accept online reservations from Expedia, so my Expedia reservation was no good. I still got a room. The place is in dire need of a renovation, clean up, new fixtures, and just basic daily care. The air conditioner didn’t have a cover; discovered the next morning the AC leaked onto the carper. Will not stay here again.”

“We were there for our 50th wedding anniversary with our family. We had 4 rooms which were nice. There were lots of Christmas activities going on. Our dinner at the West Baden resort was wonderful. Both hotels are very nice, but I would recommend the French Lick Hotel if you have kids along.”
