“For the price and location this motel was good. Only problems were that the entry door was a little hard to close and when the person next door was taking a shower it was quite loud in my room. I would stay there again. ”

“This is, indeed, a motel for sportsmen. Our room had a backwoods theme, but was also prepped for folks coming in from a day in the backwoods. I think it’s being upgraded room by room (lots of building supplies blocking a couple of rooms), and kudos to whoever is taking in what seems to be a labor of love. The motel is not actually in Dorchester- don’t let Google misdirect you- and is quite isolated, so bring your own breakfast. But it’s also in the heart of the Driftless, which is a wonderful……

“A great hidden cabin in the woods. We loved all the nature and setting on the deck enjoying the river view. Our hosts were awesome to work with. Highly recommend to anyone who wants a private secluded get away. We will definitely return next year. Also the hosts were so kind to leave great snacks. Thank you ”
