“The owner is very demanding and will yell at you from the porch until you come over and scratch him behind the ears. Oh and the bed was pretty comfy.”

“We had a lovely stay! People are very nice, rooms are spacious, clean and modern. Good central location with river views. Restaurant had good live music and we enjoyed our burger and flatbread!”

“Nice place with nice views. Comfy bed. Everything works. The trains going by and blasting their horns makes for an early morning. A bizarre thing we discovered when we got here is that all the restaurants in the area are cash only. No credit cards. Even many restaurants across the river in Prairie du Chein had a cash only notice posted on their doors.”

“Well maintained location with great staffing and service. The room was clean and the beds were comfortable. The only opportunity was the sleeping accommodations. We had 2 adults and 3 children and the room had two queen beds. I was expecting a pull out sofa but instead the last bed was a vinyl pad placed atop the air conditioner by the window! I was disappointed at this arrangement and why I rated the room as 3/5 stars.”
