“Enjoyed our short stay here. The kids loved the hot tub on the deck--a treat during a winter stay. The property has lots of space and plenty of beds. The sauna is a great feature. The weather didn't cooperate as we stayed in mid-January (lots of snow on the ground), but we enjoyed our stay nontheless. ”

“We chose this place as a stop on our way from SC to OH and it was just right! The house was just what we needed, comfy accommodations, super close to restaurants and the new river gorge. ”

“Pro: Beautiful area. New River Gorge is amazing. The house had everything you needed with a good layout. We couldn't have a fire due to the drought, but the firepit looked great. Also, because of the drought, the water levels were low but host provide 6 gallons of drinking water. Con: Directions to the property were not helpful and we had to call VRBO twice while driving around for an hour to figure out where to go. For future, please let guest know to follow the yellow arrow on the paved……

“Great little place with a very friendly staff. My son had an early morning soccer game that was about 3 hrs from home so we were looking for lodging for the night close by. Everything seemed to be booked up when i came across this place. I'm so glad i booked it. The rooms were spotless and the natural spring water it ran off of was amazing. It doesn't have a pool but we went in the off season and had no time for a pool anyway. The beds were comfy and it was nice and peaceful. Will definitely……

“Carri’s place is a must stay! It was immaculate and bigger than advertised! It was a lovely stay and we would definitely return. It was so wonderful to find each room thoughtfully put together with cozy extra blankets and fresh cut flowers! She thought of everything, from games to coloring supplies for the kids. There is Lots of seating, a big cozy sectional paired perfectly with an array of Togo snacks and hot cocoa left in a little basket. The dining room seats 8 and a beautiful patio table on……

“We loved staying here and plan to book again in the future! It was so spacious for our family and the furniture (couches and beds) were super comfy. The shower water pressure and heat temperature was amazing in the main bathroom. The kitchen and all of the appliances were awesome. My kids had fun playing the games. It was too cold for us to enjoy the yard but that looked like a great place to relax and hang out. The owner was very nice and quick to respond when we sent him a message. I have……

“We had a great time as a family! The outdoor space was great for the kids. The location is close enough to multiple towns and things to do. Everything inside the house was exactly what we needed with many added touches that were special - smores supplies, for example. The only issue we had was trying to stream anything on the TVs...internet kept cutting out. Not a big deal because we weren't there to watch TV, but something to note. ”
