“we stayed in the eastwood suite, it was wonderful, it is street side so if you are a light sleeper, you can hear cars sometimes when theyre reving, but we had NO problems sleeping with the adjustable bed, it was so comfortable and nice to sit and watch tv with. spacious!!! could do cartwheels! kitchen was fully equipped, useable and if i really had to complain, my only ask would throw in some salt and pepper or a spice, but thats so dumb to complain about, all is super readily available with……

“Very cute and cozy cabins. Simple. Had all the basics you could need for a weekend trip. We came out of season for some winter hiking and the waterfalls nearby. The guide in the room was informational about where things were and what we could do.”

“Highest praise on all accounts. Booking and check in couldn’t have been easier. The rooms were just as described, actually even better. Location overlooking the town is perfect, literally only a stone’s throw from the Quincy mine tour which is a must see… but that’s another review. The hosts, David and Zac, couldn’t have been nicer or more helpful. In summary, you should stay here soon because when they finish all of the restoration, you won’t be able to afford to stay here. “This property was perfect for our family and looked just as advertised! The beds were very comfortable & the kitchen was well stocked with everything you would need to cook a family meal. There were 2 a/c units that kept us very comfortable. The stairs going up into the main part of the property are very steep with small steps, and we had to carry our big dog down them to get him outside. However, there are baby gates in the closet, and we could have gated the stairs to keep him on the lower……

“Beautiful antiques throughout. Stairs are very hard to use. Gave the room we paid for to someone else before we got there. Ended up in a smaller room, smaller bed. Matress is very old, no support. Will not book again. ”

“Quiet location along the Portage with a nice view and plenty of space for a family of 6 with a dog. Close to parks and charming downtown Hancock. About 15 minutes drive to Michigan Tech. Great access point to all things outdoors in the Keweenaw. Host was quick to respond to any questions. Enjoyed our summer stay and would definitely recommend. ”

“After 3 days of 'living rough' in the Porcupine Mts, we were delighted with this suite! The apt was CLEAN and modern. Bed was super comfy and linens were wonderful. Provided coffee, filters, spices--a nice touch. Within easy walking of shops, restaurants, park and Canal pathway. It was odd not to have any windows [the 1 in bedroom had A/C unit in it] or balcony--but there was a public courtyard next door and Canal walkway with benches/tables, steps away so it really was fine. The house actually had more supplies than we expected, including some things that came in handy atving around the mountain like the walky talkies.The bed we slept in was very comfortable and cozy.
