“Very cute and cozy cabins. Simple. Had all the basics you could need for a weekend trip. We came out of season for some winter hiking and the waterfalls nearby. The guide in the room was informational about where things were and what we could do.”

“The location couldn't have been better. The weather was exceptional for outdoor activity. The accommodations were clean and well appointed with everything we needed to cook at home. We enjoyed sitting on the deck hoping to see wildlife but didn't. We did have a visitor one night. One morning we woke up to the lock on the garbage container broken and knocked over with bear paw prints as evidence, but no bear in sight. We enjoyed our week-long stay immensely and plan to return in the near……

We explored the area, visiting various lighthouses, took the Quincy mine tour, visited the Jam Pot, drove up to Copper Harbor for the day, took the ski lift to the top by Lac La Belle lake. “The cottage was great - exactly what you see on the pictures. It was clean, everything worked, and it looked like the host really cares about the property. We had 3 and it was perfect - would be very cozy for 5 or 6. We stayed in March so kind of a between season. Given the remote location, having a kitchen that allows real cooking was a huge plus for us. We will be back!”

“There is only one window and it's in the bedroom. Well appointed and comfortable. Easy walk to downtown stores and restaurants as well as the waterfront. Waterfront deck with bar and stools is across the street by the parking lot right on the waterfront. Worked for us because we enjoy the area and things being within walking distance.”
