“The room and property were kept up very nicely. Very comfortable and clean room. However the shower specifically in the corners in the grout had black mold. So I would address that. I know it’s common with showers but it’s definitely noticeable and something to address. But I would 10/10 stay here again other than that. ”

“Clean, fully stocked rustic cabin with an updated bathroom. The beds were comfortable. The kitchen had what we needed and coffee pot brewed quick. The patio was great with a nice firepit. We enjoyed fishing and swimming off the dock and paddle boat. We caught bluegill, largemouth bass, perch, and catfish. Lots of red-headed woodpeckers, chickadees, and tufted titmouse birds for viewing. Check in and checkout were a breeze. Great hosts who were easy to communicate with. We will be back!”

“We had a great time at the Tranquil Cabin Retreat. We were just steps away from the amazing Au Sable river. We were able to fly fish daily. Al the amenities were top notch and the property was well kept. In addition to that, the sauna was nice and relaxing.We had a small issue that I contacted the owner about. She had the issue resolved within an hour. Looking forward to staying at this property in the future.”

“The property was as shown in the pictures very cozy and an awesome back yard to enjoy a fire and stare gaze. The only down fall was the shower, it felt like i was taking a bird bath no pressure from the nozzle which made me disappointed and also Higgins Lake was Not a 2 min walk more like a 15min drive but its close enough from the cabin to enjoy the lake and scenery. The kitchen was big and had everything you needed overall I'd like to return if shower head was replaced and thougts about adding……
