“I would call this a hidden gem! Very clean and the bed was comfortable. The place has a feeling of peace and serenity definitely the spot to stay if you’re in the area.”

“Safe area that was quiet and peaceful. Room was ok.. not as comfy as last time due to the smaller pillows on the bed. The last time we stayed about a month ago, was way more comfy with full sized pillows. ”

“The receptionist was very friendly and thanked me for pre-checking in. The room was clean and comfortable. Only minor issue was a loose toilet seat. The pool was a perfect temperature - the small kiddie pool was warmer. You can see the construction details with a few old bedframes outside rooms in the large pool atrium. You have to get pool towels at the front desk. The hot tub has been removed and the hotel description needs to be updated. The play areas and game room were nice. Breakfast was……

“We enjoyed 2 days at this lovely, vintage, lodge. If you like history, antiques, and God's beautiful creation, LOOK no more - THIS is where you want to be. There are 2 very lovely porches to enjoy your book or simply listen to the Au Sable & birds and a few steps down to the river for fishing. Great dining opportunities are close or up to 20 minutes away. We plan to stay here again!!”
