“We had the MacKinnon room. It was a beautiful room with a great view. The bed was comfortable. The bathroom floors were heated. The window only opens a crack and bugs and flies get in because they dont have any screens. Great water pressure. There is a steam room and sauna that you can use. There was only one guy working the desk and the bar.ans was able to handle my request for a fan quickly. The breakfast that was included was delicious. They have really good food and service in there. I……

“The location is great in Uig and have a great view of the harbour . Its worth for the price. Check in at the Uig hotel just nearby, very close. However the dinner of the restaurant of the Uig hotel is not good. Not recommended to have meals there.”

“This is the perfect cottage to explore Skye. Ideal for a family of four. We slept well, the shower is good and every thought has gone into this self catering accommodation (not one but two hairdryers, sharp kitchen knives, dishwasher tablets, treats!). We arrived with everything we needed food and drink wise (I recommend you do as well as it's a drive to the shops) but also ate locally at the inn which was fine and lively. There's an excellent playpark across the road and a pottery. ”

“Good property in an excellent location. However there is nowhere on the island for breakfast. The information is incorrect the hotel next door closed in October 2023. There is no call a bus transport as advertised. Tiree is a fabulous place to visit unfortunately the support to tourists is in rapid decline. ”
