“Séjour fantastique, personnel de l’hôtel parfait super gentil, l’hôtel sent très bon jusqu’à la chambre. Il y a toujours une petite musique d’ambiance. La chambre est grande agréable très propre les lits sont tops. La seule chose que je pourrais dire de négatif sest qu’il manque une clim pour les nuits très chaudes d’été s’est compliqué. Mais sinon je dirais simplement parfait vraiment ☺️ merci ”

“Another very enjoyable weekend stay in one of my favourite hostals! Same lovely friendly staff gave me the quiet rear room I requested. Much appreciated as there was a very noisy (but enjoyable) street festival over the 2 days! This is a very traditional, spotlessly clean Spanish hostal in an older (1888) building but everything is well maintained with great shower and new furniture. Slap bang in the historic centre so can walk everywhere. 30 minutes on foot from the train and bus terminals. ……

“Keeping in mind that this is a small family run hotel in the Avila old town I am giving it my highest rating. This is not an international style 5 star, so don’t expect that. First the staff, some of which I presume are the owners, (José, Ricardo, Diego, Victor and one whose name I missed) were extremely helpful and friendly. It is clean, comfortable and quiet. The location is excellent, next to the Avila cathedral in the center of the old town. Everything is walking distance. Breakfast is……
