“When we arrived we were informed that only two of our four full bathrooms had hot water. This was a Friday and no one was scheduled to look at it till Monday. The hot water was finally fixed very late (10:00 PM) on Tuesday night. So for 5 days out of eight, 9 people and 2 infants shared two bathrooms for showers/baths. This is unacceptable and no partial refund was even offered. This was a problem they had known about prior to our arriving. The place was clean, centrally located and……

“This entire experience was nothing short of amazing. At first I was apprehensive to live completely off the grid but after staying here I would definitely do it again. When we first arrived the host met us, gave us an entire tour of his property, including his beautiful animals as well as explaining what it’s like to live off grid. Made us feel right at home as if we had been friends a long time. The home was cozy, it does get a little cold so be prepared. The grill and fire pit was a nice touch……

“We had a fabulous day at this condo. It was roomy and conveniently located. It was super clean with the best equipped kitchen that we’ve had in a long time. The beds were comfortable and it was nice to have access to air-conditioning. We wish the table and chairs inside were a little comfier, but the outside chair is more than made up for it. We would happily stay there again.”

“Property was very dirty. Dust on all furniture; floors filthy. Kitchen lacked salad bowl; coffee machine barely worked. Paid for AC, but it did not work. Asked for maintenance on it. Dryer vent totally clogged (fire danger) and so machine did not work. Took 4 days before supposedly they said they would clean the vent. Several burned out lights and so lighting was bad. They gave us two small soaps for the four of us (two bathrooms each with two sinks, and kitchen sink). Had to ask for trash……

“4 families met on the island for a destination wedding. We were all able to be close to each other but still have our own privacy. The common areas were well utilized with barbecuing and family game night as well as cousins having a blast in the pool. The maintenance crew does an amazing job keeping the landscaping looking great! Our families have been coming here for years and will continue to do so in the future.”

“In der ganzen Unterkunft funktionierte nur eine Steckdose. Diverse Lichter funktionierten nicht. Leider wurde in dieser Woche nie die Unterkunft gereinigt. Schlafbezüge des Bettes musste man selbst abziehen und den Müll entsorgen. Dir Nächte waren ein Alptraum, da in der unmittelbaren Nachbarschaft viele Hunde nonstop durchbellten. ”
