“I booked this unit based on the photos, the ocean view, and the proximity to the pool and was looking forward to our trip. After traveling from Chicago for 16 hours and arriving at 7pm, we were given an entirely different unit than what I had booked. The blinds were covered in gnats, the bed linens had hairs on them, there was only one bar stool, and I counted 5 light bulbs that were burnt out. Since we had a late check in and security gave us our key, there was no one that I could talk to……

“This entire experience was nothing short of amazing. At first I was apprehensive to live completely off the grid but after staying here I would definitely do it again. When we first arrived the host met us, gave us an entire tour of his property, including his beautiful animals as well as explaining what it’s like to live off grid. Made us feel right at home as if we had been friends a long time. The home was cozy, it does get a little cold so be prepared. The grill and fire pit was a nice touch……

“Very nice facilities, staff friendly and helpful, gorgeous views of the ocean from a roomy and furnished balcony where we drank coffee and ate breakfast every morning. Also loved the location - conveniently close yet away from the busy hustle. There was even snorkel gear and boogie boards provided by the host that we enjoyed using. My family stayed for a week and look forward to doing it again.”

“Our biggest disappointment was the lack of a door providing privacy from the bedroom to the master bathroom / toilet. A pocket door would fit nicely. There were no instructions on use of the myriad of remote controls -- from controlling the lanai fan and lights / living room fan / light and the TV with its various attachments. We couldn't figure how to turn the TV on until the 3rd day. Battery on one of the lanai controlers was dead. The carpet in the master bedroom is showing signs of……

“This is a very nice house. The kitchen is well appointed with nice appliances and accoutrements. Beds are comfortable and bathrooms are spacious. The patio is an excellent place to watch the sunset. Unfortunately, the pool is super cold and the spa does not work. The golf course lawn mower will wake you up very early, but that was only one morning. The AC is good to have as the breeze does not run through the house very well, but it is set to not cool down past 74 degrees. So for those of……
