“My children and I decided to get away for the week to spread my husband’s ashes. He loved Spanish moss, so we knew that the area would be perfect for him. The house we stayed out was amazing. It was beautiful and had everything we could need. I have zero complaints. We went into Jefferson one day for lunch, explored the state park and kayaked for hours. We will definitely be back.”

“Perfect for a weekend getaway! Just 15 miles from historic downtown Jefferson where we spent the days. Then back to the cabin on Lake of the Pines to watch the sunset on the porch of the cabin. So quiet the only noise was the birds at the water and the squirrels chattering and playing. ”

“The home was perfect!! Great place to relax, super clean, and excellent accommodations. We liked the screened in porch. ”

“We had such a wonderful time on our weekend here! I took my aunts down to the water to fish and we couldn’t have asked for a more perfect time even though the weather wasn’t cooperative. ”

“The house wreaked of moth balls. It was not clean. The outside deck was filthy as something had been spilled all under the table and chairs and was sticky. There were crumbs on the floor and smudges all over the sliding glass door that was near impossible to open. The hot tub was very small and immediately foamed up when we turned it on. I’ve stayed in many VRBO properties and have never had one so misrepresented and so unclean. We ended up staying for one hour and left. I have asked the owner……

“It was gorgeous and very calming endless outdoor adventure. My only setback was this was the first experience with solar power and it would have been helpful to have a welcome book with instructions on how to unplug the outside lights when not in use as well as a guideline on the power and how to prevent overuse and what to do when if it runs out. Outside of this I highly recommend this oasis to disconnect from technology a bit and really enjoy time with your family and embrace the gorgeous……
