“First, you must have a car if you plan to stay in Haro. Transportation, including taxis, are extremely limited and difficult to use. This fact is even more so if you stay at Hotel ITC Ciudad de Haro. This hotel is about a 25-minute walk uphill to the downtown area and you must cross a highway, which we were told multiple times is officially illegal. Santo Domingo de la Calzada es un pueblito muy pintoresco y pequeñito, por lo que la ubicación del hospedaje es perfecta, alrededor tienes locales con restaurantes, terrazas para tomar algo, boutiques, farmacias, lo que requieras, todo a pie a 5 minutos.
