“At check in I was notified that the hotel was overbooked for my room type. The front desk staff went above and beyond to get me a room that was comparable if not better than my original reservation. “We enjoyed stay at ADK cottage with our family. Everything what we needed. Nice kitchen, lots of space. Very responsive host. We were during the snowstorm, the tractor came multiple times a day to clean the road. This quiet place and far from everything. But we enjoyed it and made trips to Lake Placid to dine out.”

“Great hotel for hipsters. Very vintage and cozy with very friendly owner/operator. Service was excellent with coffee tea muffins. Room was old, but the sheets were clean. Cable TV was great WiFi too, but a little slow to stream. The bathrooms were clean, but looked like there had been a previous leak. We were short on towels, but were offered a room upgrade last minute to accommodate our child, so maybe it wasn’t stocked. Owner was so friendly I’m sure she would have provided anything she could.……
