“Easy check-in via lockbox, great communication from Shawn, unexpected nice touches just made it easy to enjoy from the first moment of arrival. Love the screened in porch and the babble of the river, more lightning bugs than I have ever experienced in my life. Nice and quiet refuge. All positive things to say. Grill worked great, and loved the variety of seating options and fireplace. ”

“Cozy little cabin right on the water. Full kitchen if a little scattered and using some unusual appliances (gas griddle, hot plate, refrig, all on porch). But great for two. Could accommodate 4 but two would have to use sofa bed in great room. Wifi access good though pretty much limited to cabin. Great dock for chilling on and fishing from. Fire ring worked but not friendly for rain if fire still too hot to cover. Nice having zoned heating so bathroom could be warmed on cold mornings without……

“The setting is very nice and quiet. The cabin was really new, clean and well furnished, exactly as the picture represents it. We had everything we need. I would say more then usual vacations renting. The cabin is located nearby Malone were you can find many services you might need (10-15 minutes drive). The communications were easy with the owner. I would highly recommend this place without hesitation.”

“We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Bear Cabin with a beautiful view of Lake Colby. The cabin was decorated very nicely with lots of bear motif. Having access to a variety of boats (canoes, kayaks and row boats) was much appreciated. The Adirondack chairs outside were perfect for watching the sunset. The walls in the bedrooms do not go all the way to the ceiling, and thus the lighting from the living room and kitchen area can be a bit distracting for those people who like to sleep in or go to……

“Everything was amazing. The cabin was big and beautiful, well maintained, and very clean! The screen porch is great to have for the mornings and evenings. The lake is gorgeous and we had a great time kayaking, swimming, and fishing each day. The cabin is close to all the areas we wanted see and the things we wanted to do - hikes, picnics, little towns, ice cream (!), etc. We would 100% recommend this cabin to anyone wanting to stay in the Adirondack region! ”
