“Just returned from our third time renting. We already cant wait for next year. The cabin was spotless as usual. We always enjoy coffee on the dock in the mornings. We had breakfast at CAVU cafe one morning. Had dinner at Charlie's 2x recommend both highly”

“We arrived to the boat house, we were just thrilled. It is super clean and well set up. We had a fire in the fire pit every night. In the morning we watched the Geese come flying in, a few ducks and 3 Loons. We used the kayaks, canoe and corn hole set. The water is clean. We went to the Wild Center which is very close by as well. We used the nice grill to make our dinners at night. Highly recommend.”

“We really enjoyed our stay at bear cabin .The cabin had a nice cozy feel and we loved all the bear touches !The view from the house was beautiful! We enjoyed taking the row boat out and took in the scenery. Would definitely stay again!”

“Seeing an area where the natives from the Mohawk nation and the Amish work the land and are very friendly was great. We found a few antique shops worth giving em your time. And we spent a day in Canada...the cabin was clean. And the area is beautiful. ”

“Cabin is awesome, well appointed and comfortable. High ceiling makes it feel roomy even though it is small, and ingenious layout has separate spaces for everything, which is nice if you want to rise early to see sunrise but your partner wants to sleep in. I loved it so much. Really dark when I arrived—if the exterior light had been on when I got there and maybe one interior one, this would have been a flawless stay. Owner kindly helped me get sorted, but I felt bad bugging her so late. Would……

“this was a wonderfully cozy cabin that was perfect for our family of 4. it was close to saranac lake and lake placid and made for a great launching point for our day trips. We always enjoyed coming back to the home and prepare food and relax by the fire pit. it was an ideal getaway. thank you!”

“Beautiful property! Once you get there (it is a long, slow drive from the main road) the cabin is paradise. Well kept, view over the water, private dock, a small boathouse with everything you need, and the hosts are super responsive when questions arise. Highly recommend.”
