“We had a beautiful stay at the cabin. The leaves were newly turning and it is close to many places for a walk in the woods. We hiked to the loom lake fire tower, kayaked, made marshmallows and enjoyed the outdoors. Also found a large amount of chicken of the woods mushrooms in the woods behind the cabin! ”

It's cute and cozy. The Jay area is beautiful and would love to come back and hike in the area, as the cabin is close to many trail heads(short drive, under 15 minutes) Shannon's communication was outstanding! “We arrived to the boat house, we were just thrilled. It is super clean and well set up. We had a fire in the fire pit every night. In the morning we watched the Geese come flying in, a few ducks and 3 Loons. We used the kayaks, canoe and corn hole set. The water is clean. We went to the Wild Center which is very close by as well. We used the nice grill to make our dinners at night. Highly recommend.”

“Cabin is awesome, well appointed and comfortable. High ceiling makes it feel roomy even though it is small, and ingenious layout has separate spaces for everything, which is nice if you want to rise early to see sunrise but your partner wants to sleep in. I loved it so much. Really dark when I arrived—if the exterior light had been on when I got there and maybe one interior one, this would have been a flawless stay. Owner kindly helped me get sorted, but I felt bad bugging her so late. Would……
