“This was the perfect cozy cabin for our winter vacation. It is perfect if you love a private peaceful scene in the woods. About 30 minutes from towns. Very comfortable, and the Mary is incredibly responsive and helpful. We went to towns, ice fishing on the private lake, had ourselves a day catching so many perch, and relaxed by the fire inside. Highly recommend if you like the quietness of the woods and being outdoors as lots of trails and hikes to do as well!”

“This cabin was so much more than we expected! It's spacious, with a full kitchen, two bedrooms and two full baths. The property has multiple cozy seating areas including a large front porch, perfect for relaxing after a long day. The location is secluded enough to get away from it all, while still being conveniently close to anything you need.The hosts were extremely kind and helpful and took great care with all the details that make a trip memorable. “We came to Saranac Lake to check out the Adirondacks. It is a beautiful area. The Cabin is great for kicking back and soaking in the surroundings. We brought a boat with fishing in mind. Not such a good idea. Oh! the cabin advertisement indicated that it was "Blue" . Well, that's only half true. Like I said, we brought a boat so we could leave from the Cabin and fish. But, if one arrives at the cabin by water, it is brown, not blue. It rains on us for 3 days, but we still hadfun.”

“A very comfortable cabin. Excellent base for Adirondack hiking and exploring. Multiple kayaks and a canoe are available for lake paddles. Kayak entry from water easier than from dock. Very well equipped kitchen and a Weber charcoal grill. We brought guide books and maps. Being unconnected from internet or cell coverage was OK but Wifi would have been useful to compare hiking routes or local restaurants etc in more detail. The Taco Temptation restaurant in Keeseville is good, as is……

“We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Bear Cabin with a beautiful view of Lake Colby. The cabin was decorated very nicely with lots of bear motif. Having access to a variety of boats (canoes, kayaks and row boats) was much appreciated. The Adirondack chairs outside were perfect for watching the sunset. The walls in the bedrooms do not go all the way to the ceiling, and thus the lighting from the living room and kitchen area can be a bit distracting for those people who like to sleep in or go to……

“Gorgeous, peaceful, secluded views. Clean, comfortable, quality furnishings and design. Easy communication. We enjoyed Keene Valley and Keene. We were glad one room had blinds for the kids as it was hard to resist the beautiful morning light. Agree with other reviews here - we would gladly come back. ”

“We were very happy with our stay! The property/home is exactly as described...beautiful. It was clean and very well appointed. The yard was nicely nestled in a large treed yard. The view from the hot tub was fantastic! Our hosts ver very communicative and friendly.The only criticism I can offer is that there was no clear direction with regard to recycling. We ended up throwing out our recyclable garbage and then found our later that it could have been put separately for pick-up. This was……
