“Cabin is very pretty 2 bathrooms the queen bed was very comfortable we slept very well. Indoor wood burning stove works really well. We used it when lights went out a few hours. Owner came to greet us and to help with power outage. Had a very comfortable stay. I highly recommend this place close to some absolutely beautiful places and restaurants. ”

“This was the perfect cozy cabin for our winter vacation. It is perfect if you love a private peaceful scene in the woods. About 30 minutes from towns. Very comfortable, and the Mary is incredibly responsive and helpful. We went to towns, ice fishing on the private lake, had ourselves a day catching so many perch, and relaxed by the fire inside. Highly recommend if you like the quietness of the woods and being outdoors as lots of trails and hikes to do as well!”

“We loved the cozy cottage! It IS cozy but also more spacious than it seems in the photos. It was very comfortable for our family of 4 and we appreciated the welcoming gestures such as spices to cook with, coffee, DVDs, extra towels and blankets. The kitcheware is all top quality and the gas fireplace kept us cozy. It's in a quiet, wooded area about a 15 minute drive to Whiteface mountain and 30 minutes to Lake Placid. We would gladly stay here again!”

“What an amazing place to stay! We’ve stayed in many rental homes and this is one of the best! My husband and I traveled with 2 teenagers, 2 grandparents, and a large dog. This one floor home was easy to navigate for the grandparents and had fun loft spaces for the teens to retreat to. 10 minutes to Whiteface mountain and easy to find. “We were very happy with our stay! The property/home is exactly as described...beautiful. It was clean and very well appointed. The yard was nicely nestled in a large treed yard. “We stayed here for several days on a ski trip to Whiteface. The kids decided this was the best rental property they had ever stayed in! The house is comfortable, beautifully maintained and well appointed, with stunning views of Whiteface Mountain from the porch and front yard. Host was very communicative and responsive. “We had a great stay in early March. Access to Lake Placid is quick and easy, but most essentials (food, fuel, etc) are right nearby. The cottage had everything we needed in terms of space and accessories. Rustic overall, but the bathroom is fresh and modern. The gas fireplace keeps the living room warm and inviting. “The tiny house was everything that is said it was. Very remote from everyone. Sadly you could hear the traffic off the highway. Great for star gazing and deer watching.”

Even the two adult men that had to share the small cabin had no complaints. The sauna and hot tub were perfect for us to recover our exhausted bodies from full day of shredding the mountain. “This was our 3rd time staying at Three Bears and it was perfect as usual. The cabin is amazing. It’s in a great location (surrounded by woods) and only 15 minutes from Whiteface and about 30 minutes from Lake Placid. Will definitely be going back again.”

“Looked for somewhere close to SUNY Plattsburgh to come in to visit our student at college, mainly to bring her dogs to see her, took a chance on the Blueberry Cottage and wasn’t disappointed. The location on the lake was beautiful. Was a little chilly when we went so we couldn’t really enjoy the beach or firepit, but I bet in the summer it would be amazing. ”

“We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the cottage. It was comfortable, secluded, peaceful, charming and nice and simple. Totally chilled out and relaxed in the pleasant and beautiful lakeside retreat. Did some kayaking and swimming...Had a bonfire.. Did some site seeing...Don't miss Ausable Chasm and Texas Red Hots (2miles north). The owners, were so friendly, accommodating and helpful.
