“The house and property exceeded our expectations. We are a family of 4 that stayed with 2 energetic labradors. The house was conveniently located near downtown Saranac, Lake Placid and many breathtaking hiking trails. The dock out back was perfect for fishing and dock diving for the dogs! The views from the canoes on Oseetah lake were stunning. It was a short boat trip to Kiwassa lake and the river locks which connect to lower Saranac lake. “Nice bathroom and shower, nice kitchen and appliances, large bedroom and bed. Very good condition.”

“Location and space was great! Due to winter conditions an entry rug or mop would have made our stay better since salt and dirt was hard to clean up.”

“Great place to stay! Quick drive to Lake Placid and Whiteface and all activities. Beautiful covered bridge nearby. Really nicely appointed house. Had absolutely everything we needed kitchen bathroom wise etc and was in great condition. ”

“Cabin is very pretty 2 bathrooms the queen bed was very comfortable we slept very well. Indoor wood burning stove works really well. We used it when lights went out a few hours. Owner came to greet us and to help with power outage. Had a very comfortable stay. I highly recommend this place close to some absolutely beautiful places and restaurants. ”

It's not that far of a walk to downtown especially if the weather is nice and I appreciate the cute little coffee maker for my morning start. Well equipped very modern and clean well use of the space will definitely use this as my go-to in the future. Easy check-in process”
