“The location was great. It is central to a lot of fun family-friendly locations: Whiteface Mtn and all the Olympic attractions. The house is small, but cozy. The air conditioning struggled a little to reach the downstairs bedroom. All of the other amenities were fantastic. ”

“Great place, clean and well equipped. Close enough to everything and really pretty views.”

“We originally booked for 3 nights, but loved it so much we extended our stay 2 extra nights. Host was flexible in working with us to negotiate pricing for the extra time. Very responsive, friendly and helpful! Perfect cozy cabin for our family of 5. Cleanliness could’ve been better but nothing major. Microwave handle was broken and legs on the couch were too, didn’t stop our family from having a great time though! Would 100% stay again! ”

“The lake is gorgeous and the location was perfect -- secluded and private but also convenient to town. We were very comfortable at the cabin (even when it got down to 40 degrees one night) and would certainly go back. During our stay especially enjoyed the walking trail in the woods where the house is located, kayaking and swimming in the lake, and hearing the calls of loons in the evenings. ”

“It was always nice and quiet, and had a nice vibe to it. The natural setting of it was great, I love being in the woods and hearing the birds and such. Neighbors were not right on top of each other, so it felt like it was your own space to enjoy. Definitely a good place to disconnect and relax! I had too many other things going on and wasn't there near enough time to enjoy it more, as it deserves. Maybe I'll come back another time.”

“We had a great stay in Jay. Lovely house, responsive host. Kitchen had everything we needed, including a coffeemaker and filters. The beds are a little loud but comfortable. The hot tub was perfect after long hikes in the mountains!”

“Our family had a great time at Ladybird Lodge. The original timber house has been updated with plenty of room for our party of six. The property is private, quiet, and surrounded by large trees. We really enjoyed the large, clean, and well lit hot tub. It was outside on the deck with the fire pit and hot tub.The kitchen was well stocked with non perishables, appliances and cookware. The large upstairs bathroom with a brand new walk-in shower. The house was warm and inviting with rustic……

“This is a hidden gem. Great location and it is perfect for a couple or family. My wife and I (just 2) rented the cabin and loved every minute. Hiked in the area for over 20 miles and then you are close to so many other things. One, driving distance to Montreal, Canada where we had a fabulous lunch and shopping and were back at the cabin for dinner. Two, you are so close to Vermont and that is worth the drive because of how beautiful it is. Communication with the owners is 10. We ate breakfast……

“We will definitely be back. It was the perfect location for our trip, close to things but not a terribly far drive to other nearby towns. It was great for us and our two dogs. Very spacious and private. One of the cleanest houses I’ve ever rented and full of thoughtful touches from hand cream in the bathroom to maple syrup and bug nets bug spray and flashlights. Hoping it’s still available for renting in future trips because we’ve fallen in love with the area and our next trips will be this……
